Profile Details: Ovolo Casement

The ovolo externally beaded system, is built with security and thermal insulation as it's design core. Contructed with light weight aluminium, it provides a clean and visually pleasing finish to any building interior and exterior.

The apperarance of the system resembles the earlier resin filled profiles, which when fabricated, the window looked visually appealing. With this influance on the profiles, many end users prefer Climate II for its all round benefits.

Materials used:

Aluminium: produced at EN-AW-6063 AlMgSi, AA 6063/A, SS-EN-AW-6063/A to T6. Light weight profiling and locking its physical strength.

Themalbreak: a huge 34mm thermal break, produced with polyamide 6.6 with 25% glass fibre content to give it strength while maintaining resistance to heat flow.

Sealing: EPDM with an impressive 3 chamber design to conserve heat and ristance to water. giving a W/(M.k) value of only 0.25.

Finishes:

Powder coating: coated to BS EN12206:2004 in various RAL colours. Painted to QUALICOAT License 1003.

Anodized finish: hard protecting on top of aluminium eliminating aluminium oxide. Giving it the natural aluminium finish. Silver as standard.

Manufacturing:

Joining: profiles are mitre cut at 45 degrees and then crimped together with corner cleat inserts and cheverons for added stability.

Hinges: All hinges are concealed. fasted to the frame and sash at the top and bottom. No visible signs outside or inside.

Sealing: rubber gaskets are fitted at glazing points and openings so the window is water tight.
